Sometimes I’ll start following a lark and end up somewhere totally new. When I first found out people were sculpting and casting their own custom toys, my eyes got saucer-huge and I decided I NEEDED to get in on that, and it has been as fun and fascinating a process as I could ever have hoped. I’m still learning, and my intention has been to keep my designs simple while I get the process down.

And then I go and get this stuff called Monster Clay, which practically begs for a lot of fiddly detail and long-story-short I’ve decided I need to do a special edition. It’s going to be large, and detailed, and there are only going to be about 5-10 of them. I’m still deciding what animal to do, and you can help me choose by voting in this little survey.
